"The Sin and Doom Vol. II", Impending Doom's blissfully devastating demo, issued a vicious challenge against the soulless, empty, ill-conceived heavy music made by their peers.

It was shocking in its urgent immediacy and in its unashamed outspokenness. That demo was merely a step toward the total devastation that was their debut album, "Nailed. Dead.
